Charter Fishing Network has created a custom payment form specifically designed for fishing trips that integrates with the PayPal Standard (FREE) credit card payment service.  The form is a "remote" web tool hosted by CFN, but can be embedded on ANY existing web site!   It is customized to use your service offerings, prices and deposit requirements.  It allows the user to enter their trip details, and automatically calculates the final total in a clear and understandable way. Free Trial  - Use it Today, Don't Pay Unless You Keep It.

CFN will customize your payment form, help install it on your web site and walk you through setting up your PayPal account without anything paid upfront.   You have 90 days or one (1) use of the payment form before you are required to pay the one-time set-up fee, and annual subscription.  If, when your 90 days have expired or you used up the one (1) free use, you don't want to continue, CFN will disable the form and even uninstall it off your web site if needed, at no cost to you.[ Get Started! ]

    Passengers Included - The number of anglers you include in the Base Price.
    Max Passengers - The maximum number of passengers allowed per trip.
    Additional Passenger Cost - Optional. If you don't include all the passengers in the Base Price, you can charge additional fees per passenger.
    Deposit - Optional. Fixed or % based on calculated trip package.

F.A.Q.

  • Q.   I already have a credit card terminal (or virtual terminal) and don't want to use PayPal, can the web tool send me the payment information?
    A .  That feature will be available soon, but is currently disabled and under development to comply with DSS PCI Compliance standards.
  • Q.   I don't have a web site, but I'd like to use this tool, how does that work?
    A.   We can provide you a page and unique URL on the CFN web site that you can send to your customers via email.
  • Q.   I've been using PayPal Buy Now buttons, how is this better?
    A.   This form works very similar to the Buy Now buttons, but creates the amounts based on your customer choices, making it capable of much more.
  • Q.   How can the customer add gratuity to the payment?
    A.   Currently, a gratuity feature is not available.  A customer can, however, use the Custom Amount feature to pay any amount they wish.

Below you will see the payment form embedded within this page just like it'll look on your site.  The user defines the trip details and payment options, and is redirected to PayPal to submit payment. All the values are based on your business model.  The sample below shows typical values.

This demo payment form has :

  • Sample "Inshore" trips for a "4 or Less" license captain who wants a $100 deposit for each trip, includes 2 anglers but will accommodate up to 4 anglers for an additional $50 each.
  • Sample "Offshore" trips for a "6 or Less" license captain who want a 20% deposit for each trip, includes 3 anglers but will accommodate up to 6 anglers for an additional $75 each.
  • Sample "Party Boat" trip that sells for $65 per angler.  In this case the deposit is 100%. 
  • The "Processing Fee" has been enabled for 3.0%
  • The "Tax" is disabled
